Many insurance companies are now requiring homeowners to have their roof washed before renewing their Homeowners policy or even canceling unless washed. We have heard of a 30 day requirement in some cases.

Who? This is coming from the insurance carrier and not your agent. The carrier is having someone drive by your house or in some cases they use a drone to take photos.

 

Why? A roof with black streaks or moss in addition to being an eyesore signals neglect and lack of maintenance.

Solution: Call Vesta Wash and we will explain our process and provide a quote. We can wash roof once weather permits…above 45 degrees and not too windy. Check with the insurance company to see if a signed contract is acceptable to delay cancellation due to weather.
